Paul Behrhorst is a proud neurodiverse professional with 18+ years advancing accessibility and inclusion in theatre. Since 2008, he has collaborated with disabled theatre professionals while serving in roles including Stage Manager, Production Manager, and Safety Health and Wellness Manager—experiences that give him a unique perspective on integrating access into every aspect of production.
Paul designs access audits, sensory guides, and inclusive language resources, and has led numerous anti-ableism and inclusivity workshops that equip artists, staff, and organizations to center equity in their work. His approach bridges artistic vision with practical solutions, rooted in creativity, collaboration, and the belief that accessibility is not an add-on, but an art form.
